Now that the July 26 registration deadline has passed, can I still attend the Diversity Conference? Although we cannot accept any more advance registrations, we will accept walkup registrations the day of the event at the Greenville Convention Center. Please note that walkup registrations will only be accepted after 12:00pm on Thursday, September 2, and will have access to the BMW Business Opportunity Conference beginning at 1:00pm in the exhibit hall. Any walkups (i.e. anyone that does not have a confirmed online registration) that arrive prior to 12:00pm on September 2 will be asked to return later as the morning sessions and luncheon are at full capacity.
Will I need to provide a COVID-19 vaccination card or a negative test result? Yes, all attendees and exhibitors will be required to provide one of the following to enter the venue: Proof of your vaccination record, demonstrating you were fully vaccinated at least two weeks in advance of attending the event(s). OR An on-site COVID-19 negative test result.
All conference attendees will receive an email from CrowdPass to begin the screening process. If you have not, please check your spam or promotions folder. All event attendees will be asked to upload their documentation to CrowdPass – a software platform specifically designed for large indoor events – so we can pre-screen and expedite your entrance into our event. The CrowdPass system will require you and your guests to answer health questions, upload your vaccination card or take an on-site COVID-19 test.

Will there be COVID-19 testing on-site? Yes, a COVID-19 testing station will be available at the conference.
Do we need to arrive at a certain time to take a Covid test pre-entry? If the attendee is testing onsite, it is suggested to arrive 45 minutes to an hour before their entry time. This allows them to register, test, and the result to be read (15 minutes to process).
Is there a cost associated with taking the test? Yes, there is a cost - Each onsite Rapid Test has a cost of $30/Person
Is there a deadline for which vaccine reports and negative covid test results should be uploaded to CrowdPass? Vaccines can be uploaded for review up until 3 hours prior to the event. Negative test results by a CLIA lab can be uploaded up until 4 hours prior to the event. Anything onsite does not need to be uploaded for verification as the nurse onsite will act as the individual verifying them.
Do I need to re-register? Yes, if you previously registered to attend in 2020, you will need to re-register for the 2021 event.
Am I still able to participate in a plant tour and/or driving experience? Yes, we will offer driving experiences and plant tours while following health safety guidelines and protocols. You will need to re-register for a plant and/or driving experience for the new conference date.
What if I need to cancel? We understand the need to cancel. If you do not plan on attending the conference, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For exhibitors, you must send your cancelation notice by August 2nd to cancel without penalty. Cancelation after August 2nd will result in a $1,000 fee.
How do I rebook my hotel? Please call the hotel directly to rebook your rooms for the new conference date. BMW hotel rates still apply to the new date.
What can I bring for my booth? Your booth (quad) consists of an 8’w x 8’h backwall with your printed logo on it, one draped table and two chairs. The hall carpet is black with the exception of a white stripe down the center aisle. Any floor stands or displays including banner stands, pop-up displays or anything that blocks the view of a neighboring exhibitor are not allowed.

What happens to my booth if I cancel? Please alert us of your need to cancel by August 2nd, 2021. After this date, a $1,000 fee will apply for booth cancelations.
Can I have power in my booth? Yes, if requested you will have access power in your booth. Please fill out the Advanced Electrical Form in the exhibitor kit and email your completed form to Abbey at firstname.lastname@example.org by July 26th, 2021. Electrical Quads are assigned on a first come first served basis.
How will I get to the Performance Center? The buses will depart every hour from 12:30pm - 3:30pm on Wednesday. Thursday morning departures will be at 7:30am, 8:30am and 9:30am and the last bus should leave no later than 10:00am. Participants will be back on the last bus no later than 11:15am to return to the convention center for lunch on Thursday.
How do I check-in for my Performance Drive experience? Upon arriving at the conference, all registered participants must visit the Performance Center table to receive a wristband and show a valid driver's license before boarding a bus. Please note all times listed in the agenda are when buses will depart the conference center. Please arrive early as time slots are first-come, first-served.
What kind of shoes should I wear? Please wear closed-toed shoes.
Do I need insurance to drive? No, insurance is not required.
Do I need a driver’s license? Yes, you must present a valid driver’s license upon check-in.
Is there an age-limit to drive? You must be 18 years old and must present a valid driver’s license upon check-in.
What is the cost to drive? There is no cost to attend the Performance Drive for registered conference attendees.
What types of cars can I drive? We always have the most recent model-year BMWs on hand, including X, M and i vehicles.
Will I still drive if there is bad weather? Every event we have scheduled is held rain or shine, so bring clothing appropriate for the day’s activities.
How are the cars cleaned? Due to the constantly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, the BMW Performance Center is continually making adjustments to align with CDC health guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests.
Do I wear a mask? You may choose to bring your own mask, or one can be provided to you upon arrival to the BMW Performance Center.
Where is the conference being held? The 2021 BMW Supplier Diversity Conference is being held at the Greenville Convention Center located at - 1 Exposition Dr, Greenville, SC 29607.
Is WiFi available at the convention center? Yes, WiFi access is available for guests.
Are there vegetarian options at lunch? Yes, vegetarian options are included in lunch.
Is there a lactation center in the conference center? Yes, there is a private lactation center for guests to use with refrigeration.

Where is the lost and found? The registration desk will hold items lost or found during the conference. After the conference, please contact the Greenville Convention Center.
Is there free parking? Yes, free self-parking is available. No valet services will be provided.
Will transportation be provided for the plant tours and performance center from the hotel? No, transportation will not be provided to the Greenville Convention Center from hotels.
